Odartey Lamptey: After the results of the DNA test were revealed, I nearly killed Gloria.
The former Blackstars footballer Nii Odartey Lamptey revealed his reactions saying he nearly pulled a gun upon hearing the DNA results of his three children with his ex-wife Gloria.

The former football player claimed that he had his pistol with him when he heard the results of the DNA test of his 3 children and that his first impulse was to fire the trigger and end everything. He went on to say that, after thinking about what would happen in the future, he decided not to pull his gun.
“Yeah, I took that decision [to pull a gun], but God spoke to me and I haven’t touched my gun since,” he claimed in an interview. Even though the gun was in my Tundra, I made the decision to do nothing. “Even though I was broken, my ability to be patient helped me get to where I am now. I choose not to use my gun because I think God spoke to me” – He noted.
In 2013, Odartey Lamptey and his ex-wife Gloria Appiah filed for divorce after DNA test indicated he was not the biological father of their three children.
